Pounelia Health & Beauty operates this website as a multivendor online marketplace at https://pounelia.co.in, where independent third-party sellers (“Vendors”) list and sell health, wellness and beauty products directly to customers.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Account and order information

When you create an account, place an order, or register as a Vendor, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping/billing address, and order history. This is used to process and deliver orders, communicate with you about your account or order, and to prevent fraud.

Marketplace / Vendor data

Because this is a multivendor marketplace, the name, shipping address and phone number needed to fulfil your order are shared with the specific Vendor(s) whose products you purchase, solely for the purpose of processing, packing and shipping that order. Vendors are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.

Vendor registration data

When someone registers as a Vendor on our marketplace, we collect their name, shop/business name, email address, phone number, and store address, in order to set up and operate their Vendor account, display their store to customers, and process orders. If online payouts to Vendors are enabled in future, we will also collect the payment details needed to process those payouts.

Contact forms

If you contact us through a form on the site, the information you submit is stored so we can respond to your enquiry.

Cookies

Like most websites, we use cookies to keep you logged in, remember items in your cart and wishlist, and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site (such as checkout) may not work correctly without them.

Payments

We currently accept Cash on Delivery (COD). We do not store any card, UPI or bank account details on our servers. If an online payment method is added in future, payments will be processed by a licensed third-party payment gateway that will handle your payment data under its own privacy and security policies.

Who we share your data with

We share order-related data with: (a) the Vendor fulfilling your order, (b) delivery/courier partners, for the purpose of shipping your order, and (c) payment processors, if and when online payments are enabled. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you place an order, we retain the order and account information for as long as necessary for accounting, warranty, and legal record-keeping purposes. If you register an account, we retain your profile information until you ask us to delete it.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures – such as restricting access to personal data, using secure hosting, and applying regular software updates – to help protect the personal data we hold from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of storing or transmitting data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
